Video of water found on land for new children's home - Please support this work on-line here. Many thanks
One hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in my bank account, nor what my clothes looked like, but the world may be a little better because I was important in the life of a child. - Author unknown.

Most of us would love to try change things for the better, but in a World of so much need, it is often difficult to know what we can do.
Have you seen the film Slum
dog millionaire? The film gives an insight to the plight of Indian
orphans, which can be dire in the extreme.
Since 2001 the small
registered charity ‘New
Life in Christ Ministries International’ (registered charity number
1096852) has been making a difference, and you can make a difference by supporting
the various projects the charity is involved in.
This charity was started by Kumar
Swamy who wanted to give something back to India, the country of his
origin. The web site name "I love to change" summarizes his vision for the
charity and those who get involved.
The main focus of the Charity
has been supporting and building Children's
homes (click on any photo on this page for more photos), and you can read more about this on the
History
page and the Future page.
Kumar regularly visits India, to oversea various projects that the charity supports and these projects are run by local Indians. The charity now has a board of Trustees in the UK to oversea how the money given is spent.
However, the charity has supported a host of other projects apart from Children's homes, such as starting three tailoring schools, drilling for seven wells (picture right, click on picture for more pictures), funding cataract operations, building homes and Churches and more.....
The charity now has it's biggest project so far. Some land has
been bought and a well dug on the land, and the intention is now to build a
children's home on this land - see Future
page for more details.
The building work will cost about £45,000, and when built, the children's home will be run by local Indians for about 80 children, and will be partly self supporting with land for growing food and for animals.
You may not be able to change the World, but you CAN change the World for children and others like those pictured on this page - click here for more photos.
Please do support the work of "I love to change" by spending a few minutes making an on-line donation.
Many thanks for visiting this site.
